Bilingual Territory Manager, Construction Equipment Sales

Compensation: Expected base salary range of $90,000 to $130,000, plus performance-based incentive compensation. Final compensation will depend on experience, territory, and the confirmed incentive structure.

What You’ll Do
You will take ownership of an assigned sales territory and build a strong pipeline of equipment opportunities. You will develop new accounts while strengthening existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities across equipment, parts, and service.
This is an autonomous, customer-facing role with regular travel throughout the territory. You will have the opportunity to build your industry network, deepen your equipment expertise, and grow professionally within an established international organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and customer site visits.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
- Sell new and used construction and heavy equipment solutions.
- Understand customer applications, equipment requirements, budgets, trade-ins, and purchasing priorities.
- Prepare preliminary deal costings using inventory availability, market conditions, customer requirements, and competitive information.
- Gather accurate information to support equipment trade-in valuations.
- Support RFQs and RFPs involving equipment, parts, and service requirements.
- Negotiate opportunities and coordinate internally to move transactions toward successful completion.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within the CRM.
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Coordinate equipment shipments and deliveries and follow up with customers after completion.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat equipment, parts, and service opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership and internal service, parts, and workshop teams.
- Maintain productive relationships with relevant suppliers and industry partners.
- Follow applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, typically several times per week.
Qualifications
- Proven success in sales, business development, territory management, or a closely related customer-facing role.
- Experience with construction equipment, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, capital equipment, or a related sector is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and develop new customer relationships.
- Confidence with cold calling, customer site visits, networking, and consultative selling.
- Strong negotiation and commercial decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand pricing, trade-ins, equipment availability, competitive positioning, and customer requirements.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Organized approach to pipeline management, forecasting, follow-up, and CRM documentation.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with service, parts, operations, and sales colleagues.
- Flexibility to travel regularly and respond to customer requirements outside conventional office hours when necessary.
- Bilingual communication capability suitable for supporting customers and business relationships across a diverse market.
