What You’ll Do
As the Director, Technology Services, you will provide strategic leadership for the organization’s technology function, ensuring reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that support business objectives. This role is focused primarily on leadership and strategy while providing oversight of infrastructure, cybersecurity, accessibility technologies, and enterprise systems. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to develop long-term technology initiatives, strengthen team performance, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute the organization’s enterprise technology strategy

Provide leadership for the Technology Services department and its staff

Evaluate departmental structure and recommend improvements to optimize performance

Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Lead cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives

Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and security requirements

Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and technology investments
-
Establish key performance indicators and monitor operational performance

Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and technology contracts

Lead Microsoft Copilot implementation and other modernization initiatives
-
Improve SharePoint adoption and collaboration across the organization

Ensure policies, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation remain current

Champion accessibility technologies and inclusive digital solutions
-
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

Support enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and technology operations

Build strong relationships with leaders across multiple departments

Coach managers while promoting accountability, communication, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
-
Executive-level experience leading Information Technology or Technology Services functions

Proven success developing and executing enterprise technology strategies

Strong people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build trust, lead change, and improve team performance

Bilingual in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience leading cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems

Strong knowledge of IT governance, compliance, budgeting, and vendor management
-
Experience leading organizational transformation and technology modernization initiatives
-
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Copilot is considered an asset

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive stakeholder management skills

Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and delivering technology that enables organizational success
