What You’ll Do

In this senior-level role, you will take ownership of the full RFP and contracting lifecycle, from early-stage strategy through to post-award implementation. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop competitive proposals, negotiate high-value contracts, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

RFP Strategy and Management
• Lead end-to-end management of complex, high-value RFPs across Canada
• Build and enhance RFP processes, tools, and submission standards
• Partner with internal stakeholders across sales, legal, finance, and marketing to align on strategy and timelines
• Present updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership

Strategic Proposal Development
• Develop compelling proposals for large-scale, strategic opportunities
• Shape value propositions and winning strategies
• Manage timelines, stakeholder inputs, and executive reviews
• Maintain and improve proposal content libraries and pricing tools

Contract Strategy and Negotiation
• Lead contract negotiations and redlining processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance risk, value, and compliance
• Ensure contracts are structured to support performance and accountability

Implementation and Post-Award Integration
• Support successful implementation of awarded contracts across internal teams
• Translate proposal commitments into operational execution plans
• Track performance metrics and report outcomes to leadership
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies

Executive Collaboration and Strategic Leadership
• Partner closely with executive stakeholders to support key decisions
• Provide insights, recommendations, and solutions for complex business challenges
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy while fostering collaboration across teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in RFP management, procurement, or contract strategy roles
• Proven experience managing complex proposals and negotiating high-value contracts
• Strong knowledge of contract structures, pricing strategy, and risk management
• Familiarity with procurement practices and healthcare environments is an asset
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or proposal management tools
