Bilingual Business Development Manager, French and English Required

Our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Bilingual Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Ontario and Quebec. This is an existing vacancy with immediate hiring needs.
This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual professional who understands the retail fuel and convenience industry and is excited to build long-term partnerships within a highly competitive market. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding dealer relationships, supporting existing partners, and growing market presence throughout the territory.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, plus commission opportunities, annual bonus potential, company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone.
What You’ll Do
You will manage and grow a fuel dealer territory by developing strong dealer partnerships and identifying new business opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, build meaningful long-term relationships, and contribute directly to business expansion in Ontario and Quebec.
This position is highly field-focused, with travel throughout the territory approximately four days per week. You will have the flexibility to work remotely for administrative responsibilities and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Develop new dealer relationships throughout Ontario and Quebec
- Maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships with existing fuel dealers
- Support contract renewals and ongoing business development initiatives
- Conduct regular site visits and provide operational guidance to dealer partners
- Analyze market opportunities and recommend growth strategies
- Ensure branding standards and operational expectations are consistently maintained
- Collaborate with internal leadership teams to support territory growth and profitability
- Manage sales pipelines, dealer communications, and account activities using CRM tools
- Assist dealers in understanding business performance drivers within the fuel and convenience retail space
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory while maintaining strong customer engagement
Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the fuel, convenience retail, petroleum, or related industry
- Strong understanding of fuel operations, dealer relationships, and long-term contract environments
- Experience working with branded fuel environments is considered a strong asset
- Proven relationship-building and business development experience
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Quebec market is highly valued
