What You’ll Do
As a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist, you'll support a variety of HR functions while partnering with hiring managers, employees, and HR leadership across multiple business locations.
Your role will combine recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, and talent development, providing valuable opportunities to strengthen your HR expertise.

Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage full-cycle recruitment across various business functions, from sourcing and screening through interviews and hiring.

Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Coordinate candidate assessments, employment offers, and onboarding activities.

Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices and hiring processes.
Employee Relations & HR Support
-
Support employee relations matters while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Assist with the interpretation and application of HR policies and employment legislation.

Provide HR support to employees and managers across Ontario and Quebec.

Collaborate with HR leadership to address workplace concerns and promote positive employee experiences.
Training & Talent Development

Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and training programs in English and French.

Support leadership development and employee learning initiatives.

Assist managers in creating welcoming and inclusive onboarding experiences.

Contribute to talent management and professional development activities.
Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives

Participate in employee engagement programs and organizational HR initiatives.

Support talent reviews and employee development activities.

Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and improve employee experiences.

Use HR systems and data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a motivated, collaborative HR professional who combines strong recruitment experience with a genuine passion for supporting people.
Required Qualifications

Full professional fluency in English and French, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong French-language proficiency, with Quebec French considered an asset.

Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience, including full-cycle recruitment.

Practical knowledge of Quebec employment legislation, including CNESST requirements.

Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, and HR programs.

Confidence delivering presentations, training sessions, and workshops in French.

Experience working with HR information systems and applicant tracking systems.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10%, primarily within Ontario and Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

CHRP designation or actively working toward certification.

Experience supporting employees across multiple provinces.

Exposure to employee engagement, talent management, or organizational development initiatives.
