What You’ll Do
As a Bilingual HR Coordinator, you will help keep essential HR processes organized, accurate, and moving forward. You will support employees, candidates, hiring managers, and the broader HR team while gaining experience across several important areas of the function.
One day you might coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates. The next, you could be welcoming a new employee, updating HR system records, preparing a report, or supporting an employee engagement initiative.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and help create a positive employee experience.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, application screening, phone screens, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Coordinate applicable pre-employment checks and prepare offers, transfer letters, and other employment documentation.
- Prepare onboarding materials, coordinate orientation activities, and ensure required documentation is completed on time.
- Update employee information, new hires, transfers, and employment changes within the HR information system.
- Assist with HR reporting, analytics, data validation, and audits using HR systems, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.
- Respond to routine HR inquiries and connect employees with the appropriate resources.
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives, internal communications, and HR projects.
- Research emerging HR practices and trends related to recruitment, retention, employee experience, and inclusive workplaces.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate information.
- Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee and candidate information.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using an HRIS or similar HR technology is considered an asset.
- Exposure to HR reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools is an asset.
- Progress toward a recognized HR professional designation is considered an asset.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with employees, candidates, managers, and other stakeholders.
