Our client, a global player in industrial product sourcing and distribution, is looking for a Logistics/Operations Coordinator to join their in-office Toronto team. You will help drive cross-border operations with high attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Do
In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll coordinate end-to-end logistics for full container load shipments coming into North America. You’ll gain hands-on experience with customs regulations, vendor management, documentation, and cross-team collaboration, setting the foundation for long-term career advancement.
Responsibilities

Coordinate international shipments (primarily FCL) from Asia and Europe into Canada and the US

Source and confirm quotes for freight, transloading, and delivery

Liaise with overseas vendors for booking and documentation

Submit and track ISFs and TRQs, working with customs brokers

Enter and maintain accurate shipping records in Epicor Prophet 21

Track and update shipment status from origin to delivery

Prepare and verify import clearance packages for brokers

Handle freight surcharges and invoice approvals

Communicate proactively to resolve logistics challenges

Participate in freight market trend analysis

Handle non-conformance reports, credits, and debits

Support SOP updates and process improvements

Serve as backup for admin tasks when needed
Qualifications
-
At least 3 years of North American ocean import logistics experience

Exposure to US import regulations and Canadian TRQs is highly valued

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required

Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is a strong asset

Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written

Post-secondary education preferred

Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
