Bilingual Junior Financial Analyst (French an asset)

What You’ll Do
You will support the accounting and finance team with essential reporting, reconciliation, and analysis tasks. You will also provide backup assistance across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
• Assist with month-end closing activities and journal entries
• Conduct bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Analyze and audit freight and duty accruals
• Support year-end audit procedures
• Provide backup for accounts receivable: processing payments and addressing inquiries
• Provide backup for accounts payable: recording invoices and managing vendor payments
• Maintain costing sheets and perform landed cost analysis
• Reconcile POs and inventory in transit
• Assist with financial modeling and forecasting
• Support One Stream system implementation
• Liaise with logistics and international vendors
• Cover reception when needed
Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information
• Comfortable working in a structured, team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with Power BI is an asset
• Valid PAL (Non-Restricted/Restricted) or willingness to obtain
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, not a requirement
• Criminal background check and security clearance required
