Bilingual Senior Financial Analyst (French required)

What You’ll Do
As a key player on the Finance team, you’ll act as a strategic advisor to independent business partners across Canada. You will guide financial planning and transaction assessments, while helping businesses grow through smart, data-driven decisions. This role provides the chance to influence performance at scale and support long-term success for retail partners.
Responsibilities

Engage daily with business owners, internal teams, lenders, and buyers/sellers to support forecasting, planning, and financial transactions

Build and evolve performance models to drive accuracy in financial forecasts

Analyze asset and share sale agreements to provide detailed financial projections

Respond to inquiries and information requests related to financial support and planning

Collect and analyze financial data to generate insights and performance trends

Develop KPIs to help identify opportunities for improved profitability and operational effectiveness
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA designation preferred

3 to 5 years’ experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and statement analysis

Public accounting background, ideally in assurance or advisory services

Strong knowledge of financial statements, credit, and banking principles

Proven ability to build and improve financial models

Experience in transaction or buy/sell accounting is a plus

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
