Bilingual Field Service Technician (French required)

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Field Service Technician to support customers across the Montreal region, with a primary focus on West Montreal. French is required, and English is considered an asset.

What You’ll Do

You will play a key role in ensuring customers’ systems operate at peak performance by delivering expert installation, maintenance, and repair services on-site. You will also build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted technical expert in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate equipment at customer locations
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing technical support
• Maintain accurate service records and inventory tracking
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues
• Participate in rotating on-call support after hours
• Travel regularly within your assigned region and support other territories as needed
• Maintain a company-provided service vehicle and tools
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and support business growth

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical or field service role
• Technical diploma in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software systems
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP and wireless systems
• Excellent communication skills in French, English is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable with travel, physical work, and independent problem solving
