Bilingual Technical Support Engineer – (Our client are leaders in the electrical sector)
100% Remote Work with Extensive Travel required 50% of the time, primarily to client locations in Ottawa and Montreal (or other regions as needed).
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Company Car
Work Hours: M-F (flexibility required for occasional late evenings)
Top 3 Requirements:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Quebec French (mandatory).
- Experience: 3+ years in a technical service or field engineering role within the electrical field.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent communication and client interaction skills. You should have a “go-getter” personality and a knack for engaging with North American clients.
Position Overview:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by showcasing the technical strengths of the company’s products. You will engage with strategic accounts, contribute to product conversions, specification development, and help launch new products. Your expertise will move the sales process forward by driving specifications and nurturing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Work on critical accounts and opportunities requiring your technical insight.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist with specification development, product conversions, and new product launches.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest in advanced materials and applications.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both clients and partners.
- Product Knowledge: Be the go-to person for all technical questions, delivering presentations and demonstrations at trade shows and seminars.
