Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst, Commercial (French and English required)

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will provide consistent, well-reasoned credit analysis for commercial clients, with a strong focus on financial statement review and prudent risk assessment. You will work within established credit frameworks while contributing to the ongoing health and reliability of a commercial credit portfolio.
Responsibilities

Review, approve, or decline new and existing commercial credit applications within assigned authority levels

Conduct ongoing credit risk assessments for a portfolio of established commercial accounts

Perform periodic portfolio reviews, including collateral updates, contract reviews, and compliance reporting

Analyze financial statements, accounting policies, and industry trends to support credit decisions

Engage in professional credit-related discussions with senior commercial stakeholders

Provide guidance and education to internal teams regarding credit policies and procedures
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Minimum of three years of experience in business or commercial credit adjudication

Demonstrated experience analyzing business financial statements

Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken

Strong communication, documentation, and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with solid working knowledge of Excel

Progress toward professional designations such as MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar is considered an asset
