Bilingual Paralegal (French required)

Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Paralegal to join their team. This full-time role supports legal, regulatory, and compliance functions in both English and French. What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in managing small claims court files, researching regulations, preparing legal documents, and supporting trademark and IP administration. Your ability to work across departments and communicate clearly in both official languages will be critical to success.
Responsibilities
• Draft legal claims, defenses, and motions
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings
• Liaise with provincial attorneys and external legal partners
• File annual returns and maintain business licenses
• Support trademark and IP portfolio administration
• Review and process compliance-related forms and documents
• Maintain legal and regulatory filing systems
• Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with litigation and document preparation
• Prepare and analyze legal reports and presentations
• Handle legal correspondence and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
• Bilingual in French and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Familiarity with legal research, compliance reporting, and audit practices
• Paralegal or related legal education
• Experience in a corporate or automotive finance legal setting is an asset
