Bilingual Portfolio Service Specialist
Our client, a prominent financial institution based in Toronto, Ontario, is currently seeking a Bilingual Portfolio Administrator to join their team.
Position Summary:
In this role, the Bilingual Portfolio Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the mortgage portfolio, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality service delivery to both clients and internal departments. The primary objective is to maintain the security and soundness of the bank’s collateral in alignment with established policies. The incumbent will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience, providing solution-oriented recommendations and fostering effective relationships.
Major Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Portfolio Administration team oversees the ongoing administration of the entire mortgage portfolio, making this position integral to the bank’s operations. Key responsibilities include managing property taxes and insurance, coordinating title searches, conducting occupancy checks, and handling miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A university degree or college diploma is required.
- Proficiency in both English and French (oral and written) is essential.
- Previous experience in the sales or service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial services and residential mortgages is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle high work volumes.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, and internet navigation.
- Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion.
- Familiarity with privacy and AML legislation is advantageous.
