Bilingual Inventory Coordinator
Location: Remote in Canada
The incumbent will be responsible for managing hotel inventory to ensure optimal availability and usage within a designated area.
The role involves monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers for additional space, handling backorders and special requests, and securing alternative arrangements when bookings are rejected.
The coordinator must develop strong relationships with suppliers, understand hotel offerings and client needs, and respond promptly to booking requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and analyze hotel inventory levels

Understand hotel offerings, locations, and relationships for risk and assignment

Build and maintain supplier relationships for inventory needs

Stay updated on key client and market inventory requirements

Respond to booking requests when space is unavailable, aiming for a 20-hour turnaround

Request additional inventory space as needed under existing contract terms

Secure alternate arrangements at no extra cost if bookings are rejected

Negotiate rates, upgrades, and special requests with suppliers
Requirements:

College diploma
-
2–3 years industry experience, familiar with Canadian destinations

Computer and data entry skills

Strong negotiation and influence abilities

Good problem-solving and timely decision-making skills

Bilingual (English & French) with strong oral and written communication

Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency

Time, process, and system management skills (CCRS knowledge an asset)
