Bilingual Customer Service Representative (French required)

What You’ll Do
You will be the friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for customers, assisting them in both French and English. From handling inquiries and processing orders to resolving concerns and preparing quotes, you’ll play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the sales team.
Responsibilities
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person professionally and promptly
• Resolve complaints and order issues with care and efficiency
• Provide accurate information on products, services, and policies
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges in alignment with company procedures
• Ship product samples as requested by customers or sales reps
• Keep customer records up to date
• Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless support
• Build strong relationships by providing consistent, high-quality service
• Identify and qualify new leads from inbound contacts
• Develop pricing quotes and tailored proposals
• Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction through every interaction
• Support additional administrative or service tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Fluency in French (Quebecois) and English, both written and spoken
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a similar field, preferably in manufacturing or building materials
• High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office is a plus
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
