Bilingual Customer Service Representative (French required)

What You’ll Do
You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through loan programs and applications. Using your bilingual communication skills, you will support both English- and French-speaking clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported at every step. You’ll also assist internal teams by providing seamless bilingual communication and accurate documentation handling.

Responsibilities
• Respond to incoming calls and emails in both French and English
• Help clients complete loan applications accurately and thoroughly
• Clarify customer questions about loan programs and requirements
• Review and verify documentation for completeness
• Follow up with applicants to gather outstanding information
• Prepare bilingual reports and communicate updates
• Make outbound calls to support customers through the application process
• Collaborate with Lending Service Representatives and other departments
• Ensure every interaction maintains high bilingual service standards
• Carry out additional administrative or support duties as needed

Qualifications
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
• At least one year of experience in a bilingual customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both languages
• Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with KiSSFLOW, Portfolio Plus, or Avaya is a plus
• High School Diploma required
• Customer service training is a bonus
