Bilingual Credit and Collections Representative (French required)

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, handle early and late-stage collections, and maintain professional customer relationships. You will help ensure timely payments and collaborate across departments to resolve billing concerns.
Responsibilities
• Make and receive collection calls and emails to resolve overdue accounts
• Manage and own a portfolio of customer accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships to promote timely payments
• Provide detailed account reconciliations and resolve disputes
• Approve and release orders as needed
• Open and maintain customer accounts
• Collaborate with sales and branch teams when required
• Perform occasional travel to branches and participate in special projects
Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and French is required
• Post-secondary education in accounting or business
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or finance, with 3+ years in collections preferred
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with procurement portals such as COUPA and ARIBA
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to commute to the office five days per week
