Bilingual Controller
Introduction
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional seeking a stable, long-term role? Our client is looking for a bilingual Controller fluent in French and English to join their close-knit team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This new, in-office position offers full responsibility for the Canadian financial function within a well-established organization.
What You’ll Do
You will lead all accounting operations and provide structured financial oversight for the Canadian business. As a key contributor, you will ensure accurate reporting, maintain financial best practices, and support day-to-day operations with dependable leadership.
Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and payroll
• Prepare financial statements aligned with Canadian standards
• Handle administrative finance tasks such as compliance and registered mail
• Oversee a small local team of 2 to 3 employees
• Serve as the primary finance contact for the Canadian office
• Report directly to the Director of Finance and HR based in the UK
Qualifications
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant or controller
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and reporting
• Proficient with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Must have access to a car and be available to work onsite in Woodbridge
Benefits
• Competitive salary between $100,000 and $120,000 CAD

• Consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility
