Relationship Collector – Bilingual

What's required?

1) 2 years + experience in automotive finance (ideally collections, end of lease, remarketing, customer service) OR experience from a lender or leasor of equipment or vehicles

2) Great French and English communication skills – that will be tested.

3) Ideally, you'd need access to a vehicle (due to the lack of consistent public transit in the location)

 

The job?

You'll oversee about 30-40 dealerships across Canada. Watching the money roll in. If one of the customers misses a payment, you'll be notified, and your mission is to find out what happened and help them keep their account in good standing. Essentially, you'll negotiate an arrangement that works for everyone. The customers are often long-standing 'partners' of the business, so you'll be gentle and provide kind and genuine service. You may even get on a first name basis with your dealership contacts and customers who are constantly playing 'payment catch-up'. On the odd occasion, you'll get creative on how to reach the customer and balance the account, but if all else fails, you can work with the recovery team to find the asset. The job is NOT basic – it's for someone who wants excitement and to be challenged.

Full-time, permanent. The manager is kind and easy-going. Good hours, 830-430pm, the office is nice, the company is world-class. Pay range is 65-80k *with bonus. There's a pension and benefits included. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in, 2 WFH.
