What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you will evaluate Guaranteed Asset Protection and Replacement Vehicle Insurance claims with accuracy and confidence. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while developing deep technical knowledge in niche insurance products.
Responsibilities
• Review and adjudicate GAP and RVI claims for accuracy, eligibility, and completeness
• Analyze documentation such as loan and lease agreements, vehicle valuations, insurance settlements, and payoff statements
• Calculate benefit amounts according to contract terms and service standards
• Collaborate with claimants, lenders, dealerships, and insurers to gather information and resolve claims efficiently
• Make informed claim decisions, process settlements, and maintain compliant claim records
• Identify potential fraud risks and escalate concerns appropriately
• Contribute to audits, quality initiatives, and ongoing product and regulatory training
Qualifications
• Fluently bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
• College diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 to 3 years of experience in insurance claims, finance, or an auto related environment
• Working knowledge of GAP and RVI products, vehicle financing, bills of sale, and loan or lease agreements
• Understanding of total loss insurance settlement processes
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Clear and confident communicator
• Comfortable using MS Office and claims management systems
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
