Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Bilingual Account Manager – Inside Sales to join a growing distribution organization in the Greater Toronto Area. This role is ideal for a sales or customer service professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, supporting business growth, and working in a consultative sales environment.
This position focuses primarily on developing and managing existing B2B customer accounts, rather than cold calling. The successful candidate will support retailers across Canada by providing product recommendations, processing orders, and introducing new product lines to help customers grow their business.
This is an existing vacancy with immediate availability. The role is fully in-office in Scarborough and offers a starting salary of approximately $60,000, with structured increases to approximately $65,000 within the first year, plus a performance-based incentive bonus of up to $10,000 annually.
What You’ll Do
As a Bilingual Account Manager – Inside Sales, you will manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of small to mid-sized retail customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients select the right products while identifying opportunities to grow their business through new offerings and promotions.
This role combines account management, customer support, and proactive sales outreach. You will collaborate closely with internal sales teams and field representatives while maintaining strong communication with your customers.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of B2B customers
• Communicate regularly with customers via phone and email to support orders and promote new products
• Provide inbound customer support including order processing, product inquiries, and stock checks
• Conduct proactive outbound calls to introduce promotions, new products, and sales programs
• Manage customer accounts and track activity using a CRM system
• Support sales campaigns and help grow revenue within your assigned territory
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support account growth and client relationships
• Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends to identify sales opportunities
• Develop strong product knowledge across a large catalog of consumer products and accessories
• Support company participation in trade shows and industry events when required
Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service, account management, or inside sales
• Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) required
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain consistent customer communication
• Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is an asset
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in wholesale distribution, retail, or consumer goods industries is considered an asset
