Agency Recruitment Manager (Bilingual Preferred)
Location: Toronto, ON (Yonge & St. Clair – Onsite)
Compensation: $70,000 base + performance incentives (up to $3,000 per recruiter, based on placement targets)

We are looking for a hands-on Agency Recruitment Manager to join our leadership team onsite and drive success through coaching, development, and performance management.
The Role
This is a full-time, in-office leadership role requiring active, daily engagement with our team of junior recruiters. You’ll be responsible for hands-on mentorship and accountability management to ensure your team meets and exceeds their goals in a commission-based environment.
Note: Prior permanent recruitment agency experience is required. Candidates without direct experience in a recruitment agency setting will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead from the front by being onsite daily, coaching and developing junior recruiters through structured feedback and role-playing.

Talent Acquisition: Source and attract high-performing, competitive individuals to build the junior recruitment team.

Training & Development: Provide continuous skills development in recruitment and sales practices.

Performance Management: Monitor daily KPIs, sit in on calls and interviews, and ensure consistent follow-through on performance goals.

Candidate Screening Oversight: Supervise evening candidate screening (Monday to Thursday) with a focus on quality control.

Progress Tracking: Prepare junior recruiters for promotion to the senior team after their first year.

Compensation Structure

Base Salary: $70,000
-
Performance Bonus: $150 per placement made by each junior recruiter

1 junior recruiter meeting target (20 placements) = $3,000/year
-
5 recruiters = $15,000/year
-
10 recruiters = $30,000/year
As junior recruiters graduate to the senior team, you’ll continue to develop new team members.
Candidate Profile

Prior experience in a permanent recruitment agency – required

Bilingual in French and English – preferred

Proven success in recruitment, sales, or staffing

Hands-on leadership experience coaching junior professionals

Strong sales orientation and understanding of commission-driven roles
