Bilingual Skip Tracer (Collections) – Hybrid
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Skip Tracer to join our collections team. In this role, you will be responsible for locating individuals who have outstanding debts and facilitating communication to resolve these accounts. Your primary focus will be on utilizing various resources and techniques to track down debtors while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to locate individuals with unpaid debts using online databases, public records, and other investigative tools.
- Communicate effectively with debtors in both English and Spanish to negotiate payment arrangements and address inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates in the collections database.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving recovery rates.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection practices.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in skip tracing or collections is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in using computer systems and various software applications.
