Data and Business Analyst (English Required)
Location: Markham, Ontario (on site)
Introduction
Do you enjoy turning messy data into clear answers, and helping colleagues work smarter with AI? Our client, an established distributor of internationally recognized consumer brands in Markham, Ontario, is looking for a Data and Business Analyst to support every department.
This role requires excellent written and spoken English.
What You’ll Do
You will be the go-to analyst for product, parts, sales and marketing. You will build reports and dashboards, map and improve processes and lead the adoption of approved AI and automation tools across the company.
Responsibilities
- Pull and integrate data from several sources in Excel and Power BI
- Produce daily, monthly and quarterly reports and monitor company KPIs
- Analyze trends, build forecasts and prepare business cases
- Automate recurring reports
- Champion approved AI and automation tools and train colleagues to use them
- Run requirements sessions, map current and future processes and write test scenarios
- Validate data across business systems and monitor project budgets
- Provide administrative support to the department
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a data or business analyst
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI skills
- Comfort training colleagues on tools and processes
- Experience with SAP or AI tools is an asset
- Excellent written and spoken English and strong documentation skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage deadlines
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
