Outside Sales Representative (Technical Products)
Introduction
Are you a driven B2B sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening new accounts, and growing a territory? Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join a growing technical products sales team in Ontario. Bilingualism is a welcome asset, but it is not required for this opportunity.
This is a growth-focused opportunity for someone who wants the best of both worlds: an established customer portfolio to build from and the freedom to develop new business across an assigned territory. You will receive structured product and sales training, collaborate with an experienced internal team, and have opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and advance your sales career.
Base Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience.
Commission Potential: Approximately $20,000 to $30,000 annually in additional commission earnings, based on sales performance and new business development.
Estimated Total Compensation: Approximately $70,000 to $90,000 annually when combining base salary and expected commission earnings. Actual commissions will depend on individual sales performance.
A vehicle allowance and eligible travel reimbursement are also provided.
This is a permanent, full-time position with regular travel throughout an assigned Ontario territory. Following onboarding, you can expect to spend approximately three to four days per week meeting customers and prospects in the field, with approximately one day focused on planning, quotations, CRM updates, meetings, and team collaboration. Greater work-from-home flexibility may become available with tenure.
What You’ll Do
You will take ownership of an established customer portfolio while actively developing new opportunities with B2B customers across your territory. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, building trusted relationships, prospecting consistently, and converting opportunities into sustainable, long-term business.
You do not need to arrive as a technical product expert. Our client provides comprehensive onboarding and training to help you develop your knowledge of its technical product portfolio, customer applications, quoting and pricing, prospecting, territory planning, account management, CRM and ERP systems, and sales strategy.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally involving technical products, industrial products, distribution, or another solution-oriented sales environment.
