Bilingual Technical Support Specialist – (Electrical Engineering)

This is an existing vacancy with a target start date as soon as possible. Compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, plus a performance bonus.
What You’ll Do
You will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, primarily assisting French-speaking clients. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, while developing deep product knowledge through structured training and ongoing learning.
Responsibilities
• Handle inbound technical support requests from customers, primarily in French
• Troubleshoot electrical issues involving control panels, relays, and automation systems
• Guide customers and technicians through diagnostics via phone and virtual tools
• Document technical issues and resolutions accurately
• Coordinate with field service teams for issue escalation when required
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with additional compensation
• Continuously learn and stay up to date on product systems and technologies
Qualifications
• Bilingual in French and English, with strong professional fluency in both languages
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Experience in technical support, customer support, or field service environments
• Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs or relay logic is an asset
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical environment
