Bilingual Mortgage Funder (French required)

What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with underwriters, brokers, and legal partners to ensure that all mortgage funding conditions are met with accuracy and timeliness. Your ability to manage a steady deal flow while ensuring compliance and maintaining strong professional relationships will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities

Review and verify all documentation and conditions prior to funding

Prepare funding documents and disbursement schedules

Release mortgage funds accurately and on schedule

Coordinate with underwriters, business development teams, and legal professionals

Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Manage your pipeline to meet funding deadlines

Deliver consistent, professional communication in both English and French

Flag and resolve escalation issues in collaboration with managers
Qualifications

Bilingual in French and English (required)

Experience with A, B, and private mortgage lending

Completion of a post-secondary degree

Prior experience with mortgage documentation, including NOAs, T4A, Purchase Agreements, and Insurance Policies

Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, and Windows file systems

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a structured environment

Strong judgment and ability to work independently

Trust company experience is a plus
Benefits

Remote position available Canada-wide

$75,000 base salary, with potential $5,000 increase after 6 months based on performance

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST schedule (flexible for PST, fixed for AST and CST)

3 weeks of vacation

5 paid days off during the holiday season
