Bilingual Healthcare Order Management Specialist
The Bilingual Healthcare Order Management Specialist will play a key role in providing outstanding service and support to healthcare customers, including clinics, hospitals, and home care patients. This position involves managing product orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring timely communication and delivery of medical products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
- Act as the main point of contact for hospitals, clinics, and home care patients, handling product orders and addressing inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate order entry, and monitor delivery schedules to meet customer needs.
- Respond to customer invoice inquiries and provide proof of delivery when requested.
- Handle and process customer returns, working closely with the quality assurance team to resolve open returns.
- Address back-order issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
- Provide support for traveling patients and their supply requirements.
Healthcare Support:
- Monitor the supply utilization of home care patients through regular communication.
- Process returns and credits related to home care patients.
- Manage after-hours pager duties when required.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer interactions and order management.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as warehouse, technicians, and sales teams to resolve customer issues.
- Assist with various other tasks as assigned to support the team’s goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; college or university education is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, ideally in the healthcare or medical supply industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual fluency in French and English, including strong oral and written communication skills in both languages.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with medical supply chains or healthcare order management systems is a plus.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to address customer needs effectively.
Working Conditions:
