Role Overview:
The Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for Canada will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and the advancement of our environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- EHS support to assigned sites, corporate EHS&S operations, and companywide improvement initiatives.
- and organize EHS&S related data, statistics, and records.
- assistance and training with EHS software tools.
- Compliance Calendars and regulatory logs.
- and track air emissions, storm water, and wastewater discharge data.
- and guide submissions of regulatory documentation to government agencies.
- and ensure effectiveness of required written plans.
- in drafting companywide EHS&S programs and lead training sessions.
- in internal audits and incident investigations.
- completion of internal and external audits, reports, and investigations.
- or assist in investigations of serious EHS incidents.
- in safety reviews of processes and projects.
- EHS-related questionnaires to support business operations.
Qualifications:
- in English and French (Required).
- years of professional EHS&S experience.
- in relevant industry.
- knowledge of relevant regulations.
- team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- with EHS regulatory compliance, analysis, education, and reporting.
- with strong attention to detail.
- with continuous improvement efforts and corrective actions.
- written and verbal communication skills.
- in Microsoft Suite and business software platforms.
- knowledge of ISO standards preferred.
- to 40% travel required.
Education Requirements:
- Degree in Environment, Health, and/or Safety or related field.
- or Leadership Training preferred.
- coursework in EHS, chemistry, or engineering preferred.
- with continuous improvement activities preferred.
