Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and adjudicate complex residential mortgage applications using sound judgment and a strong understanding of credit risk.

Apply the 5 C’s of credit to assess borrower profiles, real estate collateral, and loan terms to ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies.

Make prudent credit decisions, recommend loan structures, and issue conditional commitments.

Collaborate with internal partners to ensure files are complete, compliant, and processed within service standards.

Adhere to financial crime compliance including Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Fraud policies, and other regulatory frameworks.
What You'll Bring:

Full bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.

3-5 years of experience in mortgage lending or underwriting.

A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, finance, or a related field (a university degree is an asset).

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in a high-volume, service-oriented environment.
