Bilingual Debt/Asset Recovery Specialist
Location: North York (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH)
Salary: $60k-$70k
About the Role: Our client in the financial sector, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Recovery Specialist to manage accounts for repossession and collect payments on past due accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts designated for repossession and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Coordinate with bailiffs for asset recovery and assess asset values for optimal recovery.
- Communicate effectively with customers to prevent repossession and resolve outstanding debt.
- Analyze credit reports and prepare for legal actions if necessary.
- Maintain accurate account records and participate in team meetings to review progress.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of Recovery & Collections experience.
- Bilingual in English & French
- Experience in skip-tracing techniques to locate customers
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
