Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Benefits and Pensions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources Management, with expertise in overseeing the administration of Group Benefits plans and Pension Plans. The ability to communicate effectively in both English and French is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee the administration of Group Benefits plans, including health, dental, life insurance, etc., and Pension Plans (Defined Benefit / Contribution Pension Plans).
– Develop and implement wellness initiatives to promote employee well-being.
– Serve as a subject matter expert in benefits and pensions, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
– Manage projects related to benefits and pensions, ensuring timely and successful completion.
– Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data analysis and reporting.
– Collaborate with HRIS or Workday systems to streamline benefits and pensions processes.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
– Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and/or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation(s).
– 5+ years of experience and knowledge in overseeing the administration of Group Benefits plans and Pension Plans.
– Expertise and background in project management.
– Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with HRIS or Workday is an asset.
– Bilingual (English and French) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
