Title: Bilingual Property Manager

Location: Markham, Ontario

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Bilingual Property Manager to join our team in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing residential, multi residential and commercial properties throughout Canada, ensuring the satisfaction of clients, homeowners, and tenants. You will also be responsible for coordinating property management services, liaising with field inspectors and suppliers, and maintaining up-to-date property management information.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential, multi-residential, and commercial properties throughout Canada
  • Coordinate property management services on allocated file count
  • Liaise with clients, homeowners, tenants, field inspectors, and suppliers
  • Maintain up-to-date property management information for each property
  • Maintain internal and external property management systems
  • Review property reports and findings and provide recommendations to clients
  • Ensure tenant satisfaction with premises
  • Communicate with tenants on day-to-day issues and rectify tenant issues
  • Delegate and assign after-hour emergency calls to applicable trade or authority
  • Coordinate property inspections
  • Implement rental process including credit and reference reviews
  • Coordinate tenant renewals and rental increases
  • Coordinate tasks in preparation for Landlord and Tenant Board matters
  • Manage repairs and maintenance
  • Facilitate utility process for applicable properties
  • Liaise with accounting department to ensure accounting matters are completed
  • Provide applicable reports to accounting team
  • Maintain effective communication between tenants, management, and owners
  • Ensure all service contracts are up to date
  • Perform client needs analysis
  • Assist with vendor management

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and French is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
